Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery prepares a
candidate to ease the pains and give a new `life` to a patient.
After completion of HSC examinations, a student may either opt
for B.Sc (Bachelor of Science), B.E (Bachelor of Engineering) or MBBS
(Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), depending upon the outcome of
their results.
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery are the two degrees awarded after
a course of undergraduate study in medicine and surgery. The duration of the
course is four years within which the students are expected to complete their
internship.

Future prospects:
After completion of MBBS, the individual would be known as a general physician
and would be conferred with the prefix of `Dr`. However, now-a-days
Specialization has now become a pre-requisite.
Eligibility for the course:
Only students from the science stream at +2 level (XI and XII) are eligible
for the MBBS course. The scores aquired in PCB combination (Physics, Chemistry
and Biology) is considered as one of the parameter for admissions in MBBS
course.
Entrance Tests:
Students are admitted on the basis of Commom Entrance Test (CET).
